Non-Project Volunteer Opportunities
We have many volunteer opportunities that aren't just for a project! Volunteers are needed to keep our projects running smoothly, ensure that our social media accounts are active and up to date, our website and youtube channels have the latest information, present at our networking meetings, and many other positions. Please see the list below for our currently open non-project volunteer positions.
Online Learning Curriculum
If you have a background in statistics, and in particular econometrics or biostatistics, you could produce a video for a subject from our online learning videos curricula. Examples of videos already produced can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/@StatisticsWithoutBorders/playlists

External Communications Coordinator
The External Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating SWB’s social media presence, including content creation. Additionally, the External Communications Coordinator will recommend and maintain policies for external communications.

Internal Communications Coordinator
The Internal Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating, coordinating, and managing internal communication at SWB. The Internal Communications Coordinator helps ensure that all SWB volunteers are aware of the projects and work done at SWB and what volunteering opportunities are available.

New Client Acquisition
Members of the New Client Acquisition Committee are responsible for initiating and developing relationships with potential new clients and determining if SWB can assist them. NCA Committee members reach out to former clients, foundations, and non-profit organizations, and communicate with potential clients who contact SWB themselves.

Website Coordinator
The Website Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and managing the SWB website content. Additionally, the Website Coordinator is responsible for managing content about SWB on other non-social media sites, such as Wikipedia.

Website Developer
The Website Developer will maintain the design and structure of the SWB website, and lead periodic redesigns. The Website Developer will work with the MarComm Director and the Operations Directorate as needed.
